The Gig Photographers Equipment

A short run down of what gear I use for my live music photography and portraits. It is true that you can capture great images with any camera, but when you need to capture the very best image you can, you can’t beat these.

Nikon D700 + MB-D10 vertical grip.

Includes Nikons 12.1 megapixel full frame sensor. Great High ISO noise performance, can live at ISO 3200 and would still capture clean images.

A truely wonderful lens, sharp, fast, and bright. A true workhorse. With a Constantly Bright f2.8 aperture, this lens lets me stay away from the prime lenses for as long as possible, while still capturing unbelievably sharp images.

A few examples pictures.
